Momentary Radio Silence

Sorry for the radio silence, gang. Lots going on - winding up my existing job, getting ready for a new one (all will be revealed); assignments for a collage course (more on that soon, too, but I've posted a few of the exercises here); apartment-hunting trips, and many more excellent excuses. I'll be back soon; that you can be sure of.

Thanks to everyone who has been sending me fabulous mail, like this from Peter. I have you all in a chronological stack and I'm getting to it, slowly but surely.

And have you seen Red Handed Rubber Stamps? Get yourself on over there! I'm not sure if it's a good thing that there are no retail outlets near my home. I may have to ask my friends in San Francisco to do a bit of shopping for me!

Playing around with my gelli plate. Kinds of '60s abstract, don't you think?
I think we might have had curtains like that!

OoooOoo love that gelli print -- very 60's -- and very cool. Red Rubber Stamps are slowly spreading around. I saw four more outlets, I think -- one in Portland so maybe you will be able to get some. I know the Ink Pad in NYC ships. The problem is always the international shipping. I think the US & Canada should have a special rate because we are so close -- and friendly!

Canada already has that, Pamela. We have three rates, one for Canada (0.85), one for the US (1.20) and one for International (2.50). But…no postcard rate for anything. It's really hard to put a 2.50 stamp on a postcard!

I will try to hold off Red Rubber Stamps until my next trip to SF, which may be in the spring. (We may come with another couple to celebrate our 25 anniversaries.)

I hope your job transition goes smoothly. Mine is taking way more out of me than I anticipated! Looking forward to learning more about all the things you've been up to!
