On The Table

Found some time this weekend for some art making and letter/card writing. Here are a few of the results:

Monotone (sort of) Collage. At times (a lot of times) I am overwhelmed by the amount of paper I have kicking around so it's nice to limit the palette from time to time.
The wrestler didn't scan well. He's sepia, not olive, in colour!

An envelope sent to me by Phillip of Envelope 100. I've had it for quite awhile now, trying to decide who to send it to. I finally found the answer.

Pretty! The first one is absolutely beautiful in its simplicity.

Hi you three. Yes, Pamela, I unexpectedly found myself with an ENTIRELY UNSCHEDULED DAY. That almost never happens so what could I do but get the glue stick out? (Well, I went for a bike ride, too. That was nice.) Tara - I really like that one too. I'm going to experiment some more. Perhaps a series? And I thought you might like that one Dori. (It's the weirdest!)

Wow, that must have broken a Canada Post record, Susanna. 5-6 days (and over a weekend) from Canada to Germany? Mail to the states seems to take longer. So glad it arrived safe and sound.

Sending my own envelope to me was a nice surprise - thanks! Great collage inside, too. And the stamps weren't even cancelled.

To answer a question about the musician on the envelope - I think it is Eric Clapton playing guitar, although the envelope is over 20 years old, so my memory is pretty rough going back that far.
