Hmmm... all very interesting, but I don't think I'll be buying my preschooler a copy anytime soon.
I dealt with enough late-night bad dream calls after our first screening of the Little Mermaid. I can't imagine what would happen after dismembered-bodies-bedtime-reading!

I've posted a bit more about this today. I really believe knowing your child, knowing the books, and knowing when they can start to handle a bit of "violence" (however that is defined) is crucial. We need to take care, but the world has bad things in it.
